After completing her training at London Contemporary Dance School and Lewisham College, in 2005 Temitope Ajose-Cutting was awarded the Bonnie Bird Choreography prize. She has since created and staged works for many venues and festivals in the UK including The Royal Opera House, The Place, Richmix, Stratford Circus, Edinburgh’s Dance Base, DanceXchange, Swindon Dance and Dance Woking.
Temitope was commissioned for the Place Prize Bloomberg 2008 and went on to perform her commission at Firsts ROH2 and Soho Joyce New York.
As a performer Temitope has worked on several renowned choreographers including Carrie Cracknel Punchdrunk, Boxd Productions, Amy Hodge from The National Theatre, Seke Chimutengwende, Luca Silvestrini’s Protein in Border Tales, and is a current member with Theo Clinkard Company, performing in This Bright Field.
Currently Temitope can be seen dancing with Luca Silvestrini’s Protein Border Tales, in a UK tour of the show having finished a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2017.
