Italian Valentina Golfieri has performed for Frauke Requardt, Arthur Pita, Theatre-Rites, Clod Ensemble and Will Tuckett, and has danced in Macbeth at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden (Michael Keegan-Dolan) and DanceLines, directed by Wayne McGregor.
In 2011 she worked on I Just Close My Eyes: Here Are The Devils with fellow choreographer Amy Bell as part of the The Place, London's Choreodrome and Touch Wood. The two have choreographed further works such as The Time That I Stopped, Perlas a Los Puercos and the chamber opera, Crossing The Sea. Valentina was also selected as one of 15 choreographers for the Sadler's Wells Summer School university led by Jonathan Burrows. She joined Protein in late 2011 for LOL (lot of love) tours in 2012, and performed in (In)visible Dancing and Picnic in 2012. Valentina has also been part of Protein's Real Life Real Dance programme, working with disengaged teenagers.
